Ross in Bloom Press Release 26/06/2006

A group of local ramblers calling themselves “The Wombles” have approached Ross-in-Bloom looking for equipment.

They have said they would like to spend their time picking up litter along the riverside and other paths around the town, as they go out daily and feel they would be combining both their love of walking and showing pride in their area.

Unfortunately for this they will need litter picking graspers and Ross-in-Bloom are asking local people if they have any to spare that they could donate to this worthy offer of help.

If anyone does have graspers they no longer need could they please be left at the Heritage Centre or Lucas Motorcycles, so Ross-in-Bloom can distribute them to this group.
